Alzheimer’s disease:
Vitamin E is an antioxidant and neuroprotective and it has anti-inflammatory and hypocholesterolemic properties important for brain health. When these patients are given a pharmacological dose of vitamin E, they experience a decline in the progression of the disease. However, there are not enough pieces of evidence to prove this fact.

Fatty liver: It is believed that oxidative stress is the main player in the development and progression of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NFLD). Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant that has been shown to reduce oxidative stress. Therefore, it appears as a promising therapeutic approach in NFLD.

However, some evidence suggests that taking oral Vitamin E for this purpose for two years is linked to insulin resistance.

For lips: Vitamin E boosts circulation and may help generate new cells, making your lips softer.

For nails: When you apply vitamin E on your cuticles and nail beds, you can improve your nail health with time. It can also prevent yellow nail syndrome causing peeling and yellowing of nails. It provides moisturizer to the dry skin around the nail bed and cracked cuticles.

Leg cramps: Clinical investigation proved that patients with leg cramps were relieved from their symptoms while taking vitamin E in the form of alpha-tocopheryl acetate 1000 IU thrice a day before meals. However, always consult your doctor before taking any medication.
